Drumm’s Turf and Sawmill LLC is a proud provider of circular sawn lumber. However, a lot of people come in wondering what the difference is between circular sawn and band sawn lumber.

Other than the overall shape of the blades, the difference is primarily the quality of the lumber after it’s sawed. Circular sawn lumber has better, straighter cuts than band sawn lumber.

Why? Because circular saws are more accurate.

The only drawback with circular saws vs. bandsaw mills is that circular saws produce more sawdust and less rough cut lumber. Yet, that’s not exactly a problem. We love providing local farms and businesses with high quality, organic sawdust!
